Wirtz wows wells

WIRTZ  06-11-2007: Sorry about the headline, I just had to put something up there. Yes, what a weekend. My favorite show of the year delivered for me yet again, and I am so thankful. What can you say? It's Chicago, it's June, and when the weather is absolutely gorgeous-like it was this past weekend- it just makes for an outstanding art festival atmosphere. I was pretty happy with my booth display. I brought a couple of the big faces from my 2005 "Nada Piñata" exhibit, and the dynamic "So Long..." sculpture. These provided a wonderful visual impact to the booth. As always, it was so good to see all of my collector friends like Steve & Alix, Lee, Terry, David, and all the rest. I heard so many good stories of people who've bought my art in the past and are enjoying it as it's displayed in their home. And THAT is what it's really all about, my friends. And, oh, a FIRST PLACE RIBBON isn't too shabby, either. Man, those judges were brilliant! THANK YOU CHICAGO!!! CAN'T WAIT 'TIL NEXT YEAR!!
